After making studies of Graphic Design in the Serra I Abella school of Arts and Design I decided in 2003 to take classes of photography in the same school to retake my artistic skills.

From that moment begins a creative process influenced by a pictorial intention based in movements like the symbolism and romanticism.

These things takes me to develop in my work a constant search, starting as well of the aesthetic like a communicative element.

Among other works, le temps seul was one of my first projects at professional level. It consists of 20 images that show this aesthetic idealism more radical. The transformation and the clothes designs (made by Àngel Coll) to the characters were the great support to create the perfect atmosphere and thus, to carry out the most exact representation.

At the moment I divide my work between the author photography and the fashion editorial works for different fashion and art magazines: forming tandem with Manolo Mártinez under the name EL MACO martinezycortina.
